A Letter from the Mayor
To the Residents of Beaver Falls,
This is completely uncharted territory that we are in right now. I know it is very different and difficult for everyone in one fashion or another. We are doing our best to stay in concert with the wishes of Governor Tom Wolf, regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
These are difficult times we are facing; people are home and unable to work, many businesses are closed, the City Building is closed, people are working from home. Nobody knows how long this will last. It’s a very scary situation for all. Our Police and Fire Departments are on the job as well as our Department of Public Works and Wastewater Treatment Plant. All are practicing social distancing for their own protection and for the protection of the residents of Beaver Falls. We are trying our best to still provide the city with crucial services.
Please be patient. Please try to be patient with others. We should love one another as we love ourselves in times like this. None of us know how long this is going to last or what we will discover when this is over. I would say going back to normal would be almost an impossibility. We will all probably be experiencing a “new normal”, unfortunately, we don’t know what that is. In my life, in times of great danger, difficulty and distress, I have always put my faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Prayer works. Keep the faith. Don’t be afraid. I pray for the City, each and every one of you living in Beaver Falls, and all who are reading this.
God Bless America!
City of Beaver Falls, PA
